It’s pretty common to see old luxury cars tank completely in value. I’m looking at you, Jaguar - nobody wants to pay to maintain and repair you!

As an aside, a former coworker bought one for $25-30k a couple of years ago. He was blown away when the first oil change cost him something like $400.

Every Maserati: When I squint, I think "Hyundai still builds those?"

Rare italian 4 door sports car full of bespoke parts for only 20k? What could possibly go wrong?

(all of them. All the things can go wrong. And will)

LOL “rare”

These things are flooding used car lots just like their 2 door brethren and Continental GTs :]

And yes my compadre, ALL the things will go wrong :]

I wonder if the new Ghblis and “4 doors” will have the same fate? There is a but ton of them driving around

Not a terrible price, I think.

But I’ve seen one go for like $11k with just a couple dents and no real damage, so... I’m gonna call CP. Unless you’re pulling six figures, there is no NP on these things.

last i heard, the dealers were giving massive incentives (like 40-60k off msrps) on new ones. that is just driving the older ones further down market.

I predict in 2026, a Ghibli will be about like what a 2005 E320 or 525i is now.

There was one with 30k miles for $25k at one of my local dealers for a while. I was seriously tempted and somehow held off. That would have been a terrible decision.
